Hi! We, Vicky Anderson, Riley Kruc, and Claudia Meader created Team Smiles4cures. With cancer touching all our lives in some way, we've all firsthand experienced the struggle it brings to patients and their families. When coming across the amazing opportunity to be a candidate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student Visionary of the Year Campaign, we all knew it was the perfect start to fighting back cancer. We've accumulated some great team members along the way, and are so grateful to have got this chance.

In committing to helping the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission to cure blood cancers, we have also committed to being a visionary. As visionaries, we see new possibilities for our future and am willing to do what it takes to achieve them.

We envision a better world, one where a cancer diagnosis doesn't feel like a death sentence. That is why we've joined the fight alongside the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

That better world is possible, but not without help from you.

This year, we could not be more proud to be a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Student Visionary of the Year campaign, where students across the United States work to raise as much as possible to help LLS in the struggle against blood cancer.

As the largest non-profit dedicated to ridding blood cancers, LLS:

• Has invested over $1.5 billion into revolutionary research causing the advances in immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine that are helping to improve and save the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and their families, including access to doctors, clinical trials, support groups, and more
• Has mobilized over 100,000 advocates to fight for policy changes granting more affordable and accessible care
